King Overman is a British artist. Best known for his large Basketball portraits, he has recently turned his attention to Football. His series Dreams is an art collection celebrating his home town club Manchester United.
In 2022, Oscar-winning director Spike Lee bought five lifesize paintings from Overman’s Ballers series. These were featured in the New York Post and exhibited at Brooklyn Museum. Pictured is King Overman with Spike at this museum show.
King Overman started a Tiktok channel in 2021 to share his art process and finished paintings. Many videos went viral- the above painting of Michael Jordan's lifesize hand has had over 3 million views.

I make art to inspire people. But unless I'm posting constantly on social media, few people see my work. I want to be an artist, not an influencer! So this is my way to reach Football people like you- whether you want a free print or to invest in a full size painting.
My plan might sound crazy, but sharing the art is more important to me than making money. I don't know how long I will do this for, so grab the free prints while they are available.

Introducing Dreams
Dreams is an art series celebrating legends of Manchester United. The collection takes its title from the famous 'Theatre Of Dreams' nickname given to Old Trafford.
For this collection, King Overman has created five iconic portraits. The original artworks were made with acrylic paint and brush markers on canvas and card. Then carefully photographed to create the prints available below.
Each print is A5 sized (21 x 15cm) and contains a small border around the art. Larger sizes are now also available. Frames are not included.

About King Overman
King Overman is a contemporary artist working in painting and sculpture. His art journey began in 2021 after serious illness ended a twenty year career in music.
King Overman draws inspiration from classical portraiture, pop art and graffiti. His large-scale works often depict strong and imposing physical characters
His paintings have been exhibited at Brooklyn Museum and are held in various international collections, including the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Also the private collection of film director Spike Lee and NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins . He published his first monograph "Ballers," in 2021.
The name King Overman is a recent alias, chosen to distinguish his art from his previous musical projects.
